The Dutch state pension (AOW) retirement age will not go up in 2027, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment has announced.

Statistics Netherlands (CBS) publishes a forecast of our life expectancy once a year. Based on their forecast, the government determines the future AOW retirement age.

For the years 2024, 2025 and 2026, the AOW retirement age had already been established at 67. For the year 2027, the AOW retirement age will be kept at 67.
