Have you just joined the company? And did you take part in a pension plan through a previous employer? As a new employee, you can transfer previously accrued pension rights to NN CDC Pensioenfonds, subject to certain conditions. This is referred to as a ‘value transfer’.

Once you've started your new job at NN, you can request the pension fund to process a value transfer from your former pension fund. To transfer your partner's pension, you will need permission from your partner. 

How do you decide?
It's up to you to decide whether a value transfer is a good choice. When you make your decision, consider matters such as: 

• Does the pension plan provide indexation?
• How does the financial position of your new pension fund compare with that of your former fund?
• What pension options do you have through your new and your former pension plans?
• Do you want to spread your pension across several pension administrators? 

Use the pension fund's comparison tool ‘Pensioenvergelijker’ to get a clear picture of the differences between your new and former pension plans. If you decide to transfer your pension rights, go to 'My Pension' to submit a request, or use the attached form.
